Ecopower has grown from a small citizen’s cooperative into a fully-fledged producer and supplier of green energy. Today, 60.000 cooperatives are members of the organization, which now supplies energy to over 50.000 customers across the country. One consequence of this strong growth: Ecopower had to bring its IT systems up to date.
Due to the growth of Ecopower, their business processes, as well as the diversity of their activities, there was a real need for an IT platform to integrate and automate all those matters. Together with Sopra Steria, Ecopower have devised a case which resulted in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.
Thanks to the integration of all the data in one system and the automatization of all the business processes, Ecopower is ready to continue to grow and build sustainable, decentralised and democratic energy system.
